I'm a teacher at the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto, where I mainly teach Multimedia Programming, Interactive Video Art, and Information Technologies.

I'm a researcher at the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR) and currently Assistant Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology of the Arts.

I'm also a PhD student at the Ubicomp group, in the University of Minho, Portugal.

You can read my full CV at the DeGois national platform.

My research interests are mainly ubiquitous and mobile computing, interactive public displays, and touch-based interfaces.

I'm currently working on my PhD which will result in a toolkit for programmers of interactive public displays. Part of my PhD work will also contribute to the PD-NET project. For reference, I keep a list of interactive public display projects: interactive public displays list.

There is also a list of other projects I'm working on, or have worked at.

I keep some open groups at Mendeley, with papers I find interesting:

I also keep a personal list of conferences at WikiCFP.

A full list of my publications is also available.
